Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Wendi Colella, and I am your 2025-2026 Miss Keystone State Sr. Elite for the Military Star Organization. I embarked on this journey when my neighbor passed away last year from Stomach and Lung Cancer from Agent Orange. He served in the Army in Vietnam and occasionally, he spoke to us about his time in the service. It made me realize that there are many families out there that have no idea why their family member joined the service, how they felt, or what they experienced.  I have a sister who was a Military Wife as well. Her husband served in the Air Force through 9/11, and fought in Quatar and Baghdad, so her story inspired me to not only to share Service Men and Women’s stories, but the ones that kept the family going on the homefront, along with children’s views. I created this site for not only families to learn about their loved ones, but to share their experiences with others so they feel they are not alone. I hope this site brings you comfort knowing you are heard!
